Cross buffer problem

Postby Professor K on 03 Sep 2008, 20:33

Hi everybody,

Just tried Cross.
Changing buffer length while playing a deck sometimes results into silence (although the file is still playing)

For example, on my PC, the problem occurs when switching from 960 samples to 1024 samples. Even with a reboot of the software and the OS doesn't fix the problem.

Using the default buffer, I also manage to have problems jumping 8 beats forward a dozen time really quickly, the buffer seems to not be fulfilled quickly enough. But as I am using Default soundcard embedded on motherboard i don't think it is the best way to test for now the buffer performances !

thanks for the feedback, indeed if you tamper with the in-built buffer while playing a track I'm not surprised you have issues...

It seems to work OK with th U46 though...

I'll let the dev team know though

cheers :D
