Audio not working on some songs without console/loop crashes

Issue 1: All of my music in my collection works fine with the MK2 console plugged in. When it's disconnected only about half of my music plays with out having to click on the head phones button to listen to it. This also was an issue before I even set up the console for the program.

Issue 2: When I do a bunch of looping in a song or over the span of a couple songs the program crashes but if I keep it to a minimum everything works fine.

Otherwise I am quite satisfied with the update to 7.1 Producer.

Hmm, ok for some odd reason I have to use the monitor button to hear some of the music in my collection. Everything is set up correct because I can mix other music. The way I found it out.....

I was mixing Nu Shooz "I Can't Wait" and PAULA DEANDA FEAT. BOW WOW "Easy (Remix)" and I can't hear either song besides when I hit the monitor key. Now just yesterday I was mixing VNV Nation, Armand van Helden and a slew of others and all the songs worked fine.

The mix list for the first two songs I mentioned, I imported the media base from Pro 6 and I thought that was the issue so I tried to just grab the songs and play them in Pro 7 and I got the same results, so it's not the media base. The two songs noted above still work in Pro 6 just fine.

Then I thought it might have been the folders that these songs were in so I tried other songs in the folder and they all worked except for a couple.

Maybe this is a bit more helpful.

which sound card are you using ? Are you mixing with an anlog or a MIDI mixer ?

I use the on board sound card on the Hercules MK2 console but otherwise I use the on-board sound card. I use MIDI for mixing and I have no idea even if I can set up the MK2 for analog.

Yes you can use the MK2 as a soundcard. Install its ASIO driver and set it in the MixVibes' sound option.

which version of the Hercules Mk2 are we speaking of ? the one with the in-built soundcard or just the MIDI version ?

It has it's own sound card with MIDI controls. I got it less than a year ago.
