Hello!!

I have the demo Ver. of MixVibes and I am using my friends HD Control CD's.... So far I love MixVibes It looks clean and it seems to run great on my PC!!!!

I am using Denon DN-S3500 CD player's to run the time code and all is well!!! Except for the the master tempo!!!!

When I use the master tempo + or - it sounds really bad, Almost like the pitch keeps changing really fast.... :(

If this problem can be solved then I'm going to buy the full Ver. of MixVibes ASAP!!!!

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

with all C.D Player you should use RELATIVE TIME MODE or ALL RELATIVE not ABSOLUTE MODE

All the denon C.D PLAYERS that I have tested with mixvibes run better in RELATIVE TIME MODE with time code C.D

it has been a long time since I had my DN-S 3000's & 5000 so I'm going of memory

GIVE THIS A TRY.....in mixvibes just above the PITCH FADER thear is a button that has speed , key and tempo

so when you change from pitch to master tempo on your denon 3500 you also have to change from speed to key in mixvibes
I think or it might be from speed to tempo....I can't remember

Thanks for trying to help me ..... But Unfortunetly that does not work!!!...... still the same problem......

I was reading on a Alcatech DigiScratch Forum that no matter what the software / Hardware you are using Master Tempo/Key Lock will never work with Time codeing Because its destorts the code!!!! the only way to have master tempo working is to put your player to PITCH and then have some software that can convert it to Key Lock........ So I downloaded a demo of Virtual DJ and this is true!!!!!!!!!! It works :) I use pitch and it all stays on key!!!!!!

So now my next Question is Can this be done with MixVibes????????? I REALLY REALLY hope so :)

Indeed. Using the master tempo feature from the CD decks will always destroy the original timecode of the control CD. You'll have to use the software's master tempo.

FYI the Cross's master tempo will be one of the best among the DJ market.
