For the moment, binaries for Mac are in development.
You can use (as I do) Bootcamp to install a Windows partition and play with the actual version.

will every version be awaylable for mac or just Cross? and when can we expect it?
i´m going to buy a macbook next week and i don´t want to use any windows stuff on it... but seems like i have to untill it´s awaylable for mac, using mixvibes is one of the main reasons i´m getting a portable computer.

why wasn´t it made for all systems in the first place?

Just simply because Mixvibes is not a big company and because all systems are not made for real time programming support.

Look for others programs. Just simply port a Windows program to Mac OS is a nightmare. Look for VDJ or Traktor. They only use their own hardware under Mac.
I don't want to talk about Linux, because all sound servers are in beta versions and really buggy not supporting all sound cards.

So, we can say that Windows is a *, but finally it is a normalized mature OS (for sound with Asio)...

i´m patient so i can wait for a mac version and i appreciate what you guys are doing so i won´t switch to another system. one question remains: will every version be available for mac or just Cross? the video scratch/mix function is very important for me and Cross doesn´t have this function (yet).
