Problem Vinyl V2 vs. V2b

Hello,

no clue what i do wrong....maybe someone can give me a hint....

my Problem:
have bought 2 new vinyls v2b. Got the update 7.040. Now i have tested for a while.
When i tense my arm and shiver with the vinyl the sound seems to drifting slowly forward. (So the "Sound" stays not at the same place at the vinyl; instead it moves slowly forward. When i try the same with my "old" v2 Vinyls....i got no problem.

Have tried to increase latency, but no chance to solve the problem.
Same with new calibrating the vinyl.

Any Ideas? Thanks

I Use an Echo Audiofire 8, Asus MB, Intel E6600, 4 GB Ram, Win XP,

Think i found the problem.....

The Needle seems to be damaged.....tried another system and it works.....no problems anymore.

Because i have changed the vinyls i thought it must be a problem with the vinyl......
Still a bit confused because i got no problems with the needle at V2 vinyl.....but problems with V2b....

If anyone has another idea please post.....

btw.

is it normal that if you switch between absolute/relative Mode and Speed/MT/Key the sound get bad and the speed slider went crazy (jumps from 0 to 6 and back)......
(sorry for my english; hope you understand)?

Ok Guys.....

today i bought new needles.....and i can say it is definately not a problem of the needles.

I can "scratch my back up" with V2 Vinyl and the sound is drifting not away. But If i Use the V2b Vinyl it does. So what´s the problem?

I know it´s very strange because the timecode of V2 and V2b (i think) must be the same...but v2b orange is drifting.

Any solutions and/or suggestions?

Problem is still here.
I use MixVibes for a couple of years, and i know how it should work. But now i´m clueless. This new V2b Orange Vinyls kill my nerves.

First Thing: I Bought V2b Vinyls because i thought with them it would be possible to handle Matsertempo with the pitch of the turntables. It doesn´t work. If I switch between Spd/MT/Key when the vinyl is spinning the Music starts to sound like "Mickey Maus" after a few times switching around.

Second: Sound Drifting like crazy. If i use the old Vinyl (V2) i got no problem. All work nice. But as soon i put the v2b orange on the turntable sound drifting starts.

This is no joke. I´m serious. If you don´t believe i make an video and post it up in here.

Sorry but i am "glad" to hear i´m not the only one.
Have tried couple of things like increase the latency, install the driver of the soundcard once again, reset mixvibes, calibrate the vinyls new). No Chance to get it to work.

Have seen that mydogrizla has also joined early 2004 this forum. Maybe there is a coherency that we had bought an early version of MV6 (mine is 6.01) and the update-prozess is not working well...... just an idea....search for answers.....
