Im in a bit of a twist where i cant really decide for which one of these too choose..
For those who have some experience with the components... can ya share and tell me which one i should choose and why..

main reason is to be use it as an external controller for the sampler, but if there are other properties that the components can be used for, i would be glad to hear what it is since i dont wanna purchase something that will last for a month or two.

Pls brothers of MV, share your experiences =)

many thx // Taboo...

thats a hard one...thay are both good controllers

I'm more than happy with my EDIROL PCR 500
One of the good thing about the EDIROL PCR 300/500 is that you can split it into two controllers
you can have the buttons, knobs, faders(4) and the crossfader mapped to the decks 3 & 4 and run it out of the USB port
and then you can map the keys and the other 4 faders to the sampler and run it out of the old school MIDI port and plug it to your EDIROL FA-66 sound card MIDI in-put
its like having two MIDI controllers in one

and it comes with soner le and project 5 le...both are good DWS programs

the duel MIDI out puts is the big reason why I got my EDIROL PCR 500.....SO I can have the deck control on decks 3 & 4 with the USB
and then have the old school MIDI out put pluged to the Vestax pdx 3000 so I can do the cool key/tempo thing

I have an mpd24 and I love it, but the pcr looks pretty handy.

I use the knobs for controlling gain/hi/mid/low for each side, the sliders for speed/mt/key, and the pads I keep empty just so there's no conflict between the sampler and MIDI events.

i've a Pcr-300, for 2 month, and I love it!!!!!!! He's perfect because he 's got a lot's of knobs, faders and pads.
Pads aren't nice for a sampler like battery, but i use they're for mixvibes, so that's good. the big problem (for me) is that he's really big, and i don't use the piano key with MV7...

I'm maybe gonna create my own MIDI controller, on theese website:
http://www.ucapps.de/
http://www.midibox.org/
but it's so complicated :banghead:

exuse my english, I'm a little frenchie :French:

That's in French but the MIDI script available on download may work: mixvibespro6-akai-mpd24-t9072.html
