PROBLEM USING MIXVIBES DVS Ultimate WITH U-MIX44

f i load a cd in the cd players and press play on them whilst there is a song loaded in mixvibes it will play and pause, the effects on the cds are all over the joint and the mixer effects dont work. Also for some reason i lost the 100% time Code quality.

So cd-control does work?
But what do you mean by "the effects on the cds"? FX on the CD-players dont work with DVS the just mess up the timecode (->you loose 100%)

Mixer fx should work fine (Mixer-type?)

Yes it works but the song playing on the cd is complete different to the song on mix vibes. And i wasnt aware that the effects on the cd player would stuff it up. The Mixer effects dont work, the mixer is a SMFX 200 whilst the cd is a mpcd-x3, Both Citronic.

Are we talking bout cds with songs on them or mixvibes-tc-cds?

okay ill start again, my fault.

I have mixvibes open and i have loaded a song on. Whilst that is happening on the cd players i have a cd playing. Everytime i press play and pause on the cd player, it pauses and plays the song on mixvibes, even though the songs are different.

There is a MIDI mode option on the cd players, but once i put it on that mode and press them nothing happens. As in pressing play/pause does nothing

In order to play the song from mixvibes, you got to have the mixvibes timmecode-cd in your cd player!

Or do you want to use your cd-players as midi-controllers?

Yes the time code cds are the cds that are playing. and yes i want to you my decks as midis. Thank you for helping also

Ok, so when you play the timecode-cd, there is a different song playing than selected in mixvibes, or did i missunderstand you?

If you wanna use your decks for midi-control, be aware not to map anything doubled. E.G. you cant have the play/pause button mapped, as it will probably conflict with the timecode-cd input.

i think you misunderstoood. If i am playing the timecode cds on my decks and i press play and pause on the decks, it will play or pause the song playing on mixvibes, even though the song on mixvibes is a random song

wait can even the timecode + the MIDI thing work at the SAME TIME on the SAME PLAYER?
or my second question is.. why one even want to use MIDI if he s using timecode (and vica versa)? its just doesnt make sense for me
