Christian,

You wrote that the pre-listening function is mapped to a button. That is not true. As I told you, I've used the Hercules MK1 MIDI controller in combination with Mixvibes Pro (v 7.2) and that works directly (that means I do not need to press or switch any button on the MK1). It needs only a right mouse click on the (first) icon in the mediabase window to activate the pre-listening function.

With Mixdeck when I right click I can hear the music to my headphone but also there is output to the musicboxes (it seems that the channels are not separated). The monitor function on the MixvibesPro CD player works correctly with Mixdeck. It seems that with the right-click the signal is directly redirected to the headphone output.

Are you talking of a preview player ?

I don't know what you mean with a preview player. I'll try to express it in an another way. If you right click in the the mediabase window (where all tracks are listed) on the most left icon of each track than you can pre-listen (headphone) that track. Noting else is activated. You don't see anything changing in the MixesPro program, the only thing what is happening is, you can hear the right-clicked track thru the headphone.

What MV version are you using ?
Tried with Producer 7.4RC, never worked : when I right click it open a contextual menu.

The preview player is available in View/Preview menu but I can't load anything into it.

I'm a bit lost on this because I don't understand how you can listen to a track without loading it into a deck.

Most of the actual MIDI commands are in this thread : viewtopic.php?f=268&t=15072&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=MIDI+command

I've tested MV version RC 7.4 also and you are right the right click in this version does'nt work. I've seen this often in earlier MV releases and reported this bug to Mixvibes. With MV 7.2 (and earlier releases) this right click works! You have yo put your cursor exactly on the pre-listening icon!

I have found the Mixdeck Tractor MIDI map as .tsi file. This is the registered version. Tractor says that the LE versions differs from the reg. version. It runs only within Tractor. I can see commands but not the MIDI notes (as numbers)

Is it possible to export this tsi file and read it with an another programm so one could read the MIDI note and and also print the table.

Q.: I've tired to upload the tsi file, but seems not to work. Is there an upload protection for other (eg doc, pdf etc.) files.

This is what I though, the feature you're looking for have been removed.

The tsi should be a xml file I guess.

There is a tool in NI's forum (TSI Viewer) that gives you the option to import a .tsi file and export/save it to a xls (excell file) file and see all the commands and settings of the .tsi file. And tsi file is not an xml file.

The tsi viewer in the NI forum is outdated. Mixdeck MIDI map for Tractor Pro cannot be red with this viewer, NI didn't answered me wich viewer is suitable for those new NI MIDI maps.
