mydogrizla - I'll test the backspin ina couple of hours and send you more feedback.
FYI - this is not exactly a drift problem. Drift is when the timecode slides slightly during a scrtch motion. It exists for every software in Relative mode... MisVibes has no drift at all in Absolute mode for scratching.
However, there can be indeed a timecode decoding error for very drastic backspins. Whene the timecode is accelerated to much, the software is not able to tell in which direction the record is rotating... it looses contact with the record and stops playing. This happens above 100 RPM => very fast spinning.
To reduce this problem, make sure you are using a line level and not phono signal. On the U46 MK2 you should set the outputs to line (and use the Y cables for vinyl by passing)
'Drift/drastic backspin problems' exist on all Digital vinyl solutions. We work constantly to improve our timecode and hopefully we will be able to provide an improvement in the next update.
to Mello D - what's going on ? you looking for a ban or something. No more censored words or i'll send you a trojan poney
Regarding the V2/V2b vinyl here is an update. The reason the V2 vinyl is appreciated by turntablists is because it has no one minut markers. It just looks like a straight up old school record. The timecode is the same as well as the build of the vinyl. Vinyl version is not the source of the issue.
