How can I upload the Hercules MIDI file to you in pdf format or do I have to copy paste the whole MIDI table into the post frame

You can upload the hercules file direct in the forum. On the bottom there is a Option dialog and there is also a File upload field.

If there is no field you can also upload it to an Fileserver or something else or send it via PM that should also work.

The command should be ACTIVEVIEW or the combination of more commands.

There is no special command for playing pre. There is only a load Media Button for each deck and also a select section where you can select your media from the mediabase.

The only command you can test is ACTIVEVIEW what is there happen. I have no description about this command. THe only command which I know is ACTIVE and that selects the current player. So Activeview could be the pre hearing function.

I would test the ACTIVEVIEW function.

Someone has written this MIDI map for MV Pro. That person should know how it works.

And.: Typpicaly there are no separte buttons or faders which you have to use on the Hercules MK1 console to activate the pre-listening function. But in the MK1 MIDI map MIDI notes are refered. This I don't understand.

And.: There must be a MIDI table available for Mixdeck. I've tried to google on it but didn't find it. Strange because Tractor has mapped Mixdeck completely and Tractor has also this pre-listening option, but I don't know of this works with Mixdeck.

I know the problem with the detailed MIDI map for the new Numark products.
I wrote 6 or more emails to the Numark Support and only one email was answered. They gave me a Traktro LE license key and nothing more.
So I have used this key to install it and load the mapping for my NDX800. Then I aktivate the MIDI Monitor which I installed and push every button on my NDX. So I got all the MIDI notes for every button. And also the MIDI In for the product.
I have a thread running where I ask for details how to map a display. I have the MIDI notes but without the commands for that I can't use them.

As a Monitor I used MIDI Monitor and MIDI OX. There you can see details about every channel and so on.

Maybee you have luck that Numark is answer your question.


But a silly question from my side: When you use a Laptop in front of the controller why you don't use the mouse to enable the pre listen function?

yes he wrote me a message. He told me that I should look at the MIDI file of the controller. I will look at it on the Weekend and test it. He gaves me also an overfew over all commands for MIDI functions. Thats also interessting there some information which I hear the first time^^.

Mybee it will work or it will not work. I hope it will work that would be nice.
