Yes on/off if it works but it's not always the case. You could also tried to disabling the Wlan in the BIOS setting. And in last case remove the card.
Strictly for tests purpose !

Just modified the title off this topic. Based on the conversation this is an issue with a specific series of Dell laptops, not the U46 MK2

Hey Whitelion,
This may not be what you want to hear, but the problems you are experiencing are due to the laptop itself. The Dell Studio laptops are horrible for intense audio projects due to the way the BIOS is written. Native Instruments forums has a thread about it and RME had the same problems with the Studios. Gearslutz has a few ppl with the same issue as you do with their hardware.

My Asus F3sc (older modell, not available anymore) works really good with DVS and Cross. Till now there are no problems and everything works fine. But I heard from different friends that Asus has a very bad service. Someone wrote that Asus is your friend if you are interested in their products, but if you bought one they act like your stepmother Greetings, Steve

Toshiba seems to be ok for me...Had it on 2 different models, old and new. Used it for Music production as well as DVS/Cross. On Another note; I had troubles trying to run DVS on a HP a while ago. for anyone having Audio drops out etc look at replacing your USB cable with something of better quality,, alot of companys ship quality gear but fail to provide a USB cable of any good standard. some are not even grounded correctly. for more information take a look at an article on DJtechtools. http://www.djtechtools.com/2009/06/19/hi-speed-usb-cables-for-djs-20-ferrite/
