when you go to file > config report, a text dialog pops up. copy and paste everything inside it. It should start... Config (Date) and (Time). Heres a screen shot of mine.

my computer doesn't do that with those instructions. a notebook paper pops up. no text appears. should i reinstall the software so it could do that? the message that appear "cannot find :c/Program files/mixvibesdvs/config txt file. do you want to create a new one. i selected yes to create a new one and nothing happens. What do i do in this case?

i went to my computer and i found this c:windows/system32/insconfig.exe. is this what you're looking for?

ok you run under vista?
follow special vista instructions
1) go to your vista config manager panel
2)find users settings
3 put your system in unprotected mode (a special vista config not needed if you don't use high definition videos). Forget the windows warning, uncheck the combo box unprotected mode & reboot.
Then the instructions given will work well.
Sorry my Vista isn't native english, I can't help you further with what you should exactly read. Maybe one of our american DJ can help you, if of course your local language is english.

OMG... just copy and paste the content of your config report and post it in this forum so that they can have a look at it...

thank you for your responses. they have been helpful. i'm not sure what the configure report is supposed to do for me. here are my list of problems, the music plays backwards,turntable doesn't respond as a normal turntable. in scratch mode the song freezes. when it is off the song plays normal. i can't retrieve music from iTunes library. please help me with my issues 1 at a time. i apprecitate the time that your puting in this.

When you run your MixVibes, clic on Files then config report, it opens a notyepas windows with the report in it. This is the text you need to select all, then copy, then paste here
