Wow, not sure what the above means but I shall do a little research and see what I can find out! Do I need to do this UAC thing to get the software running?
Google windows7 UAC you will understand. Yes you need to stop that.

Great stuff, I have sorted the UAC thing out, thanks for letting me know UncleVibes, how ever, none of the MIDI files seem to work, there is a standard VCI-100 already in there, I would assume this is included in the install, but this won't work either.

I have checked device manager and the VCI is seen and is stated to be working properly, also when I go to set up my audio, so I can monitor, I don't get the options in multiaudio like I used to, instead of 4 drop downs with all attached soundcards as options I am now getting 4 drop downs with the following number in: 0000.0013.0000.002.000.000.000.000.000

Any ideas whats going on?

Oh and I have played a few tracks through both my sound cards and they are both fine through 3DEX.

Many thanks

James

Seems that the audio driver doesn't work well, you should see the name of the sound card followed by numbers from 1 to 4
Try to reinstall your drivers or try to use asio4all www.asio4all.com
