Funny timing there. Thanks.

I have the serial and the software installed no problem. And thanks for your tips in the pm. I thought that's how I set it up but I guess I missed something. I feel like a friggin idiot. But it's all good now.

Hey,

that sounds nice that it now works but btw you should register your software then you can download the newest version with more features and so on.

Yo this is Tucom from DJForums dude..haha.

I think it'd be good to keep the thread open for any further issues that may come up tho, you know?

Christian - once it gets "reset" I can register it.

Tucom - probably a good idea. I am super stoked, unfortunately it's almost 1130pm here and I have to work tomorrow!

I give up. I sorted out the distortion, sorted out the cueing and now I have a REALLY stupid question. I can't load new tracks.

Here is what is happening.

I open Cross, load tracks into A and B, play A, mix B in and then it will not allow me to load a new track into A. Don't you just stop the control record (A in this case) and then drag a new song from your collection into the window?

I am using an external mixer if that makes any difference at all.

Hey normaly we can only help you out when you have registered your software but this question can you answer yourself. What happens when you stop playing the vinyl and put a song in the deck? ;)

What's the status to your registration? have you contact the support?

regards

I sent a note to N-deep and he replied asking for the serial. I may have to wait another day because our schedules seem to be very different. I am in Oman.

Anyway, I've been mixing for the last couple hours and then just hit a snag again. I was able to drop songs in each deck to continue my mix but it just started happening again. Much more so in deck B. Basically I have to hit my load hot-key (1 or 2) continuously until it will load. There is a constant quite "wobbly" sound, maybe the software believes that deck is playing a track? Again, mostly only happening with deck B. So I assume it is some connection from that table. The calibration is showing near 100%, the needles have VERY low use on them as do the vinyl so I can't figure out where the issue is because I assume it would come from one of those places.

I suppose I didn't really answer your question specifically. Right now, for instance, both decks are stopped and I cannot load a new track into either deck.

Last night I thought I was just overlooking something simple but now after it having worked for a while I believe it is a technical issue.

Ok I hope you get fast response that the serial is in your profil. We can give you only support when you registered your software. But the problem you describe sounds like an older problem which is fixed in an newer version. So when you registered your software you can download the newest (1.6 RC or 1.5.5). Which version do you have installed? 1.3? or a bit newer?

so sorry but these are your forum rules that we only can gave you support when your product is registered.

Btw. is your computer optimised for audio?

Wow, I didn't realize how outdated my version was. I have Cross 1.2.5.

I don't want you to break any forum rules, shouldn't be more than another day before the serial situation is worked out.

I do not know if my Macbook is optimized for audio. I'll search for an old thread regarding that.

Thanks.
