I own a Dell Inspirion N7010. My old computer I have sitting here also is a Dell E1505 but this is an older model I used for Mix Vibes Producer.

Is there a way yo reset the Vfx Control. The email you sent me ruined my control or maybe it just didnt take right. Can I attempt this more than once? Im really getting dissapointed with Vfx Control and just hate to stop using mixvibes. I thought by spending 1500 dollars I would get a better system but Im still using my old computer and MIXVIBES Producer and it works better. What can I do? Or can you help with Vfx Control

Could you be a bit more precise ?
What didn't work exactly with the flashing process ?

With what computer did you do the flashing ? The one that already gave you issue ?

I did the Powered USB Hub with my New Dell Ispiron n7010 and it didnt last 45 minutes without the sounds being distorted. I also flashed the drive with this computer and my Vfx contro didnt have flashing lights like the directions said it would. All tht shows up as errors is "it appears that your video hardware (Intel (R) HD Graphics card is not compatible. Do you want to try to start the video engine?" But this error has always came up.

This is the workaround for the buzzing sound and it had worked for many users.

I also flashed the drive with this computer and my Vfx contro didnt have flashing lights like the directions said it would.

This is the fix : flashing with a new firmware.

All tht shows up as errors is "it appears that your video hardware (Intel (R) HD Graphics card is not compatible. Do you want to try to start the video engine?" But this error has always came up.

This is another issue, you don't have a compatible graphic card so i don't understand how the update of the firmware should have helped with this.

What computer did you use to do the update ? I hope you didn't use the one that already have issue with the controller !
Does the update procedure complete successfully ?
What is the firmware version displayed at startup ?

Even without the right graphics card the Vfx Control works fine, video looks great and all functions work. However after a while the "static sound" comes out. I tried the firmware update you sent me thru email and I also bought a powered usb. When I did the firmware update there were no flashing lights like the directions said. After a few hours of leaving it alone and nothing happenning or flashing i tried the vfc control and it didnt work at all. I stop using the Vfx for two weeks then I re installed everything again on my laptop and the Vfx Control worked. But again only till 45 mins hit then the static sound appears.

Am I doing something wrong when I "flash the drive"? This is on my Dell N7010 computer. I have a powered USB. I do notice the website has an Vfx update, do I need this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I did the updates and it changed my logo on the computer. Is this normal? Also it says there's now an MIDI read error. Was there something special I was supposed to do with the update or when I installed them?
