Steve,

Could it be a power related issue too. I know the Hercules Trim (as I have one too) has it's own power supply, does the Vfx Controller or U-Mix Control Pro have there own power supply or are they both USB powered only.

What I'm thinking is that if they are just USB powered maybe it's worth trying both of them with a USB powered hub.

Just thinking out aloud and maybe completely wrong, mate ;)

Don't midn Jim, I am very thankful for every hint!!!! EVERY!

The U-Mix Control Pro can be used with an external power adapter, but I have not tried this yet. The Vfx uses this external power adapter which I alway plug in. I can try using the U-Mix Control Pro with power adapter, maybe this could be a solution ;)

Thanks Jim!

Steve

Hey,

I tested now the following products:
U46Mk2 - working
BCD3000 - working
old USB Soundcard Soundblaster (the correct name is lost... not readable -> default driver from windows) - working

regards
Christian

Big thanks Christian! So we could encircle the whole problem a bit! You are using a different chipset and it points more and more into the direction that this chipset (HM55) is my problem.
Today I have tested again the combination of the U-Mix Control Pro as a controller and the Hercules as audio interface - without any problem.

I will continue testing - thanks for the help!!!

Cheers,

Steve
