Sorry I did not mean the ion d DJ worked, your forum input for my serial # worked, I put in the serial # - I also called ION support and they said they would also call you for info on the problem. Thanks for your help.

I am sad to tell you that we have to wait now for the Ion support and their communication with mixvibes. Unfortunately the office in Paris is closed till monday morning. So please be patient - thanks in advance!

Steve, thank you very much for the help. I think that if ion and mixvibe are going to partner up, they need to keep the connection working or tell everyone that it does not work w 10.6.6, the ion site says it works w snow leopard , which is not true. Other people on this forum are having the same usb connection issues i am seeing. and not everyone will even bother to get on this forum to get issues solved. anyway, thanks for listening.

Everybody in here udnerstands that you are annoyed - who would not be if you buy a system that should work but does not work?! I am not sure where exactly the problem lies - Ion, Mixvibes or Apple. It is often hard to find the reason why it does not work - believe me, I have recognized this more often than anybody in here would expect!

I only can comfort you to wait till monday and see what all parties can do.

No, you are not understanding the issue. The software does not crash.
The harware ion Discovery DJ does not work, you can not scratch after the first time you start the software. The hardware works the first time you start the Cross software, after you quit the Cross software and then start it up again, the icon discovery DJ hardware will not work again. Hope this help you , in helping me. Thanks for your time.

Ok, sorry for the misunderstanding and you're right, I see this issue myself.
If this happen since 10.6.6 only, then there must be something into the usb handling on the Apple side.
Unplug/replug didn't cure too.

In Cross DJ 1.5.1 it work fine each time.

I don't know how many Discovery DJ s ION is selling but they are going to get an ear full if Mixvibe doesn't put a fix out there. You may want to let your management know about this. The hardware is a door stop without the software. I will call ION again this morning to find out what they and your company will do about this!

We don't need to put a fix, it is certainly fixed since months in the normal Cross DJ version.

I have a piece of hardware that does not work because of the software that comes with it? So, how do I get the software that works with the hardware i bought ? , guess I am confused?
