You're supposed to use the native screen resolution with standard dpi and no zoom into windows.
And the GMA945 is not the best mobile graphic chipset out there.

Vfx update.......
Okay so I'm loving my Vfx controller and getting used to the software. So I finally bring the QSC K12's and K Subs into the basement and make some noise. Everything is going good then I plug the power supply in...................What the @!*#$!!!!!!!! Static. Really bad high pitched static. After an hour of tracing lines moving wires, I finally realize that its the laptop power supply. So I searched online for some kind of filter. The answer? disconnect the ground on the plug. I just plugged it into a 2 prong adapter. Silence then 4000 watts of pure music. I love it.
