How would go about doing this? Open up the actual hardware or on the computer?

Sorry, it took sometime getting back to you. As I said earlier I don't really know this card. But you could try this.

Open Cross. Go to File

Click, Preference>Audio Tab

You will see a drop down with your sound card, U46Mk2 or ASIO driver listed. At the side of that there is a small button with "Control Panel" on.

Click on that and it should bring up the U46Mk2 Control panel. Once this is open, look for a option called ASIO Buffer (or something like this)

What is sample number set at?

Buffer size reads: 256 Samples (5.8ms)
It is also set at 44000 Hz (not sure what all this means but hopefully it helps)

Set it to 512 Samples.

You might get a message, that you need to close Cross once this setting has been changed.

Follow the instruction, then re-open Cross and give it a try

Thankyou Jim B. No more glitches!
On a less important note, you wouldnt know if there is a way to tighten up the accuracy when setting a cue point? It seems to move around the point where as using cd's it is dead accurate. (This is in cdj mode on a Pioneer cdj). Is this just something to deal with on mixvibes?

You can try to lower the latency from 512, step by step to see if it improve accuracy .
When it start to glitch, get back of 2 steps and you should be ok.

"spamming" the forum does not help with your problem. Please stick to one thread and keep up the conversation there.
As far as I know the LE (Limited edition) versions I am not quite sure if it is possible. Maybe someone with knowledge of the LE version can give you infos about it.

hey...

I suppose you're using your "3500s" not as a soundcard. The built-in FX are AUDIO and can't be used with timecode as they will only change the timecode and not the sound. The timecode is ONLY to control location/speed fo the players. The FX shall be in the programm to use them and are controlled by some hardware via MIDI or HID. The next update of Cross (near future) will have sexy-sounding FX implemented, I tell you.

I don't know about the gear you mentioned, so I can't help you with your cueing, sorry. But If you think about using CUE-points, you will have quite a problem. You are using the same Timecode-stuff for all your songs and your controlling player does not know which track your PC is playing. So it can't store CUE-points for dedicated songs. You have to store them (if you want) for any song in the programm and use some assigned buttons on the controller to get them working. You might change mappings in Cross to your needs.

Hope it helps...

Greetings
