hey man

finally got to my mates place,,
Tried the CD's that come with DVS/Produver and yeah the cue reset doesnt work, when pressing cue on the cd player (Numark axis9) its more of a play/pause the track is not reset to the cue point
used the new HDCD that comes with Cross and the track is restarted back to the cue point. this was tested on latest Producer update which should be the same as DVS.
Same occurs on the latest Cross beta
sorry i did forget to generate config reports whilst i was there, but can pop over and re do the test.

What CD's are you using
best way to tell is by the colour on the bottom of the cd blackish is the new HDCD.
Producer 7.4, DVS 7.4, Cross 1.3.2,
M-Audio Quattro, U46mk2, Evolution UC33, LaunchPad Technics 1200sl Mk2 , Rane Empath, DDM4000

Just tested with CDJ400 & CDJ1000mk3 and Beta 7.300,
I can restart only in absolute mode and I used black HDCD.

When I use the 7.218 it work in Absolute AND in Relative (but not in All Relative which is normal).

So there is obviously a bug in the beta but not in the 7.218.

Just want to check..

What quality is reported in your timecode settings? 0% or ~100%?

Try reducing the preamp of your interface (not the one built into Mixvibes!) then recalibrating. The output from professional CDJs is usually a very high voltage so sometimes the interface can induce clipping if it is amplified too much. What interface are you using?

EDIT: Maya44USB. Read from your config. In your ASIO control panel, take a screenshot of the input levels. I have a Maya44USB and with the Cortex units and Pioneer 1000mk3's the input should be set underneath the first 'latch'. I found when I used the Maya44 that I needed to increase this for vinyl input, and decrease it as mentioned for CDJs. Having it set low didn't sound great for vinyl due to the Maya44's lower quality signal.

Once again a tell-tale is if the timeode quality appears at 0% but it works fine in a relative nature then your interface is clipping the input, and you should reduce the gain there. Good practice tells me I should use the maximum output on my interface, and reduce the interface's input until Mixvibes doesn't have to amplify it, or amplifies it by between 0db and 3db.
