I MIX DJ TECH CONTROLLER PROBLEM! PLEASE HELP!

I think the problem is not the computer and not the hardware.
but the software has changed how the hardware works.
(i dont know for sure)

I still get power to the controller and the computer knows its connected but it dosent read as MIDI controller.

It did work on both of my computers
windows XP (service pack 3)
windows Vista (service pack 1)
I have used the vista most of the time.....when i first bought it i used the XP.
i have said before i dont know what caused it! like i have disconnected it from the usb before every now and a again to clean up the desk with no problem. The problem started when i disconnected for about a week. Then i tried it then thats when it started to mess up.

Ok well i think its the Driver. It comes up no driver installed. So if any one owns IMIX DJ Tech could you please tell me if you need a driver to run it. I need this driver so it can regonise its self!

The djtech imix does not require any drivers as it is a generic MIDI device supported by windows OEM.

If the driver has become corrupt it is possible to force the driver to reinstall from the original windows installer disk.

Does it now no longer work with on any computer or just your computer with a vista installation? If it doesn’t work on any computer i would recommend you have it sent back to your retailer and have them take action on it, such as having it tested properly as a driver problem on one computer would not cause the controller not to work on another computer.

dont worry your not the only one who it doesnt work for either, i brought mine a few days ago and installed it onto my computer, and it says the exact same thing. ive tried it on another computer it works a bit, but says MIDI file config promblem. its only worked properly once for about 5mins, and hasnt worked since after, it still picks up the green light and flashes when u press a button but thats it.

id take it back but unfortinatly i cant remember where ive placed the reciept

not to mention i brought it from the same place you did!

You must have the latest update for 3dexle done. See download section.
Your problem is different. I am sure you have only a configuration problem.

I know how to fix you problem.

i had that problem when i bought it.
U say it flashes when you press a button well thats a good thing. because that means that the computer is recieving data from the DJ mixer.

The problem i have is it dosnt flash it stays green.

I just mucked around with it and i got it to work.
i cant remember what to do exactly because i havnt been able to open the program. It took me a few hours to fix it up. but u will be able to get it working. just read the instructions i know thats not alot but it might help.

U just have to make the program regonise it so in options you should be able to fix it. U can open the program right?

If you cant open the program itself u got the same problem as me.

I DONT RECOMMEND BUYING CHEAP SH*T LIKE THIS

I WAS NEVER HAPPY WITH IT. AND NEVER BUYING THIS BRAND AGAIN.

at lest i got my money back i can now save up more and buy a DEASENT DJ mixer.
