you need to have your propper sound device selected in your properties and have the vinyl playing at 0 pitch when creating a config report...

this report shows your internal soundcard and no vinyl input to diagnose .

sounds like a needle probelm. try switching the needles on your decks, execute the install wizard and see if the problem reproduces.

I did all of that and i'm still having the same problems...im fairly certain its something to do with the driver, why does it say "u46mk2 v1.0.41 disable" i think that might be why its not performing like it should ....i cant choose latency or anything because it wont like save ....yeh so i really dont know why it says disable what do i have to do to enable it......i hope you guys can help and cheers for everyone that helped so far !!! :)

good karma ;)

You got an install problem with your u46mk2, you might have also some problem of saturation in your input 2. (put the same preamp of 5 db both decks & click on apply vinyl/cd options.
Check if you don't have twice an esi or mixvibes driver for the U46. If you introduce twice the mixer then at least one mixer will be desactivated.
Open the execute panel of windows & type msconfig. Check in the program launched at startup if there is twice or more u46pan.exe, the U46MK2 control panel software.

yes, your right...i uninstalled DVS and installed it again and when i was installing the driver it said it had encountered a problem ...and when i clicked ok a window poped up about "rundll32 (host)" this might be why it isnt installing properly.......also everytime i turn on the u46mk2 vista always says "new hardware found" should it be doing this all the time or should it just happen the first time i plug it in?

Heay, tj,

These rundll32 host processes are a pain in the ass for allot of people, i think the best way to get round your driver install is to do a manual install (installing the driver without the driver installer).

If you don’t know how to do this give me a shout and i’ll help you out... bear in mind though i don’t have one of these audio cards myself so it may take longer than usual, lol.
