i wanted to ask a few things about Vibes tho. Where can i find the correct settings? I.e in File/Options/Sound ... what should it go first in the "Device" .. my Soundcard or my mixer? and what in the "Mixer" e.t.c :)

From what i can gather your mixer is an external soundcard so i would assume you should have Mixvibes run through it.. however until i know more about your mixer i can only speculate. Maybe one of the French speaking users will be able to help you out more.. i’ll point some in this direction.

Guys sorry for the double post! After couple of hours or re-arranging things around i finally have crystal clear sound on my speakers from both channels! The problem is that i cant control my mixer! the crossfader is working fine from within Mv .. but not from my mixer since the sound comes only from one channel (even tho my settings are correct for both channels)

Also are the settings right? I read somewhere about the latency but thats how high my soundcard goes by default

heay dark,

please do this for me..

List all options available on the dropdown lists for both “Device” and “Mixer” in Multi channel Audio Mode.

Then go here http://www.asio4all.com/ and install this driver to your system then list all the mode available in ASIO mode. This is a driver capable of low latency on WDM audio devices.]

Seems like our on the road to getting this sorted out, you just need to make sure the audio for each player is passing through the correct channels.

Thank you for your quick reply! Thats what i get after the Asio installation!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v401/Rdragon/s3-1.jpg

i noticed that there is an option in Asio's control panel to activate the output of my soundcard No2!
So i enable the output channel in my soundcard No2 and i got each player's audio through the correct channel! But the sound when i use Asio is extremely choppy!!And i dont know the correct settings in Asio's control panel ( latency Compensation, hardware buffer, Asio buffer size) etc,

The options in the "Multichannel" are simple

*Thanx a lot for all your efforts!! :D

Ok, so we are getting closer yet, ideally you want ASIO buffer size to be as low as possible but if having it set at 512 is causing interruptions in the audio then you will have to increase it...

You can go about this by moving the slider “ASIO Buffer Size” to the right one notch, closing the ASIO config panel then restarting Mixvibes and trying to play two tracks at the same time in Mixvibes... if there continues to be interruptions in the audio then repeat the process until the audio plays fine... after that it should be “happy Mixing”.
