From the response above or more accurately lack of...not ONE person has recorded the mix using 2 turntables recorded to the 3rd chan.

I want to know this, specifically, if u recorded your mix. this feature does NOT work for me, nor has anyone mentioned their successful. I spent quite a bit of time trying to make this work and it does not record the mix.

If you find that its broken for you too then say so, as Phadevision did above in the thread.

I'll post a screenshot in a bit, but for some reason the 5/6 simply just doesn't show up, everything else works like a charm though.

By 5/6 you mean the 3rd Main Volume LED UI lights... correct???

If so this is exactly the problem I mentioned above. Thanks for confirming its broken. I'm waiting for someone to tell me it works for them.

Well, I gotta ask you the obvious questions first.

Did you configure the sound using your soundcards UI for channel 5/6 (mine has mutes that I can enable/disable and volume)

Did you add the 3rd turntable... can't tell from the pick.... and make it an input?

I assume you did this already. and still are unable to record both turntables mixing

Update!!! actually I see you have the channel set to 2Ch. Set this to 3Ch and this will add a 3rd turntable. Drag 5/6 input to the turntable...

Did all that, even with 3ch. selected, still only get up to 3/4. Everything in my U46 panel is unmuted, still no dice.

Did you try in 44.1khz mode or 48Khz?
It should work in 44.1khz as the 3rd output only work with this mode (usb1.1 limitation of the U46)

Yessir, always runnin' in 44.1khz. It's really no big deal though since I use GoldWave and sometimes Audacity.

In fact there is no 5/6 inputs on U46 soundcards just 5/6 outputs & only in 44.1 khz. So recording is just impossible through the U46. I am confused the tip only works if you have a third input too.

This should be put into the FAQ and/or stickied in order to prevent future issues as new members join.

The only way I can think of in order to record if using a U46 is buy a red/white to headphone jack cable, then plug it into the mic port on the computer and record with the software of choice.
