Mixvibes doesn't play video with Vista

you cant mix your video files without MIDI mixer. You need to plug your mixer into MIDI soundcard, and use MIDI Learning to map your crossfader.

the hak 360 has no MIDI control on the crossfader...its just a very good audio scratch mixer

you need a MIDI controller to go with the 360 or you can just use the mouse.....turn the crossfader in mixvibes on and give it a go with the mouse to see if you can see the video image

and thats is why I sold my denon 3000 & my mixer and went for the Vestax vci-100 MIDI controller

this is something that mixvibes needs to work on

we need two crossfader in mixvibes one for the audio and one for the video like PCDJ-VJ....with PCDJ-VJ I can set my vci to do audio & video and my pcr500 crossfader to do the video at the same time

How are you going to mix the video image together without the crossfader in mixvibes turned on ....your ecler 360 mixer will only do the audio not the video..

i turned on the mixvibes crossfader, and the video is still missing in both player parts itself.

i was going to mix video using mixvibes soft only, using mouse, but not MIDI controller.

LOL! I couldn't help but laugh at that, it just sounded funny to me.

Back on topic though, if you're willing to experiment, you could always buy a cheap MIDI controller like a Trigger Finger and use the sliders/pads to fade/cue.

P.S. I use Vista, and video doesn't always work, but I only have one video clip so I can't really say that my input is all that useful. I'll test some soon for you though.

We're going to improve video in the next updates, we now have some full time developpers dedicated to it.

the VISTA bug will be corrected in the next update and you can expect significant improvements before Xmas on video file supprot and reliability.
