MV DVS runs great but Cross drops audio

Postby dialect on 11 Oct 2010, 15:51

hello, i have paid for MV DVS and now i tried instaling Cross, borowed from friend...

i have great experiences with MV and i am telling everybody to buy it, when i am asked...

when i started Cross, evething was working but sometimes the audio drops... like when you have scratched record... but only ones,... then 10mins ok and then again... it is mostly when i am looking for first beat with MV vinyl...

what should i look for?
MV DVS 7 works great, my latency is 256 and i set the buffer no to 5. (btw what the buffer no. does? what is it for?)

well everything is just working, until i use Cross...
ive tryied all the OS...xp vista now i have win7_64bit but still this is happening everywhere...

the dpclat is still in green ...

OR... is there some way in MixVibes DVS how to speed up records in MV software?
in Cross i am able to use that finepitch... in MV it just displays the pitch which i set on my deck...

thanks in advance

what are your computer specs ?

256 samples in Cross too ?

well everything is just working, until i use Cross...

what driver are your using with Cross ?

the dpclat is still in green ...

This only told you if your computer is available for streaming audio, it doesn't tell you if computing is hard or if you're ok.

This feature is only available into Cross.

lappy spec:
Intel Pentium Dual-Core T3400
Freq: 2,16 GHz
FSB: 667 MHz
Cache L2: 1 MB
3 GB DDR2 800 MHz (2 + 1 GB)
250 GB, Serial ATA, 5400 RPM
Intel Mobile GMA 4500M

both sw running with 256, as the control panel holds the latency - cant change in MV or Cross

and both running with the last esi driver

Weird, this should run flawlessly with such setup.

The power scheme is set to max performance ?

it is mate...

MV runs great and always did... but i felt in love with that auto-relative switch and bonus pitch... which is as you say only Cross

so i wanted to try it out... but this is happening :(
if we could solve this... i am going straight to market
