Y cables issue

Postby djcrank on 24 Aug 2008, 15:47

hey guys i need som help...when I plug the Y cables to play normal vinyls and start to spin on both turntables at the same time, some crapy sound turns on in the speakers and it sounds horrible but the funny thing is the crapy sound is there only when both tables spin..if one is playing and the other one is not spinning there is no bad sound...any ideas how to get rid of it ? thanks a lot

ok heres the config playing with vibes and down is the vinyl config

try to improve your latency (audio driver configuration) : try 256 and 512.

this only happens with Y cables ?? thats weird... there must be some kind of electrical interference... maybe one of your phono outputs is sneding a weird electrical signal... looks potentially like a ground connection problem. have you double cheked those ?

Maybe the Y cables are damaged... or there must be some kind of electrical interference. Can you try it on another place?

have you tried with only one of the Y cables ? try left and then right and see if its one of the outputs seem to be responsible.

this is bad very bad there must be some kind of problem but i dont know where :( maybe they are damaged but i dont know because i have no other place to try them :( there must be something wrong with the Y cables because you can hear the crapy sound only when they are plugged in ive tried to play on turntables without mixvibes and the sound card and everything went fine even playing digital with mixvibes was perfect but when the cables are plugged everything turns bad
