Keyboard mapping help please

Postby djmeely on 05 Apr 2010, 04:03

I can't find a concise description except that if I can find a learning button somewhere, I can assign functions to keys on the fly.

1.) Can anyone give a concise description of how to do this please and see a summary of what the heck you have mapped?

2.) Also, is there a way to map commands to the ACTIVE deck rather than assigning different keys for left and right decks that do the same function?

3.) Can you chain commands together into a single key if for instance you want to create a Cue+Play command?

Thanks!

Hi meely,

1. http://mixvibes.com/support/?p=435&lang=en <- this should help more towards the bottom, although it's for MIDI, the same principles apply while using keys.

2. Yes, you can edit which deck your mapped key will manipulate in the MIDI editor in the preferences.

3. Not currently.
