if you want to be able to scroll through the mediabase

open windows explorer and navigate to your mixvibes install folder
open the MIDI folder
open the Stantion SC3.3d DaScratch.ini file

place the following 2 lines at the bottom of the file

#90 28 SELECT 0 1 1 NOUP NOCHANGE
#90 29 SELECT 0 -1 1 NOUP NOCHANGE

save the file

open Mixvibes
go to preferences and the MIDI tab

select the same config file stantion sc3

edit the file

select one of the lines you have just added
touch the button you want to assign and the MIDI note should change
do the same for the next line

close the MIDI editor and give it a shot!

let me know how it goes

I agree with bigi. I'm guessing you'd like to be able to scroll through the mediabase with the center? I'll have to experiment with it a bit when I get home, but try assigning the relative control to the mediabase search command (I forget the exact name off of the top of my head) using the Serato preset.

just thought i would let everyone know that i still havnt solved this problem. It's sad to say but i may just have to give up on mixvibes and buy serato or traktor, both of which now have MIDI controllers which do exactly whart i want
