Problem with Laptop/Notebook

Postby angelinajelly24 on 11 Dec 2009, 16:26

Problem with Laptop/Notebook, Reboots before i even start-up, Help?
ok please help me here
i have a Toshiba laptop and 2 days ago i was on my laptop and decided to install the microsoft updates because i had'nt done it for a while. and so i did.. it installed like internet explorer 8 and some defence updates.. it took around 3-4 hours to install all of it, after that it forced me to restart the laptop, so it restarted and then turned back on, saying "Updates were not configured correctly, Reverting changes, do not turn off your computer...

it says that for 5 minutes or so and then automatically restarts itself, turns back on and says "Updates were not configured correctly, Reverting changes, do not turn off your computer..." i had left it on like for a whole day, thinking it was trying to fix itself.. but i didnt, and i got pissed off and turned it off, and when i turn it back on it says "Updates were not configured correctly, Reverting changes, do not turn off your computer... AGAIN! and continues to do over and over again..

it just never stops..

wtf do i do

the laptop has some important family photo's from this year which my parents have not published yet and really need them. it also has a MAJOR assignment which i really really need..

please help me here
thankyou
