help in setup of MV-producer 7.218

Postby yanivr on 12 Jul 2009, 15:35

hi

I'm having trouble with the configuration of the soundcard folder in the Options section.
I own the creative XFi Elite soundcard and the real-tek soundcard on the mother board.
I want to hook up my headphones to the real-tek as a monitor and the speakers to my creative sound card as the main output.
that's it. no MIDI. no cd units.
the way that the configuration is set right now, when i press the headset button in the MV-7 PRO, the sound comes out loud from the main speakers (on top of the regular sound of the deck i'm playing) how can i sepprate the 2 out-puts ?

How many outputs should I enter in the ASIO section?
How many outputs should I enter in the MULTI CHANNEL section?
What value should I enter in the MONITOR field? (1 front/ 2 center/ 3 back…etc)
And the same 3 questions to the KERNEL and MULTI AUDIO sections….
I'm desperate
Thanks a lot

Hi,

You need to choose the ASIO mode. Then choose 2 outputs. Finally click on the ASIO setup button to choose the monitor output.

Let us know if it's worked.

Asio, Multichanel and Kernel modes only alow for one sound device with multiple outputs to be used. You can however use multiaudio and set up both sound devices, here is how under soundcard tab choose multiaudio then in the drop down boxes select your devices that's it, now you can use both audio devices in mixvibes...
