Bypass issue...

Postby kLsMaN on 30 Jun 2009, 01:29

Hey,

I recently bought the DVS MK2 pack, since this is my first experience with timecode I'm still in the learning fase...

So here's what bothering me: when bypassing in MV7, I experience a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge difference in the level of output. Is this a normal thing to happen or must I change something in my setup?

Owkay, owkay, that I understand, I'll rephrase my question:
In MV7, when I try to use bypass, I have to turn my gain on my mixer to an absolute minimum (which still is much to loud compared to what's playing with timecode)
Is this normal behaviour in MV? Yes or no...
(I'll post my config report a bit later, because my laptop isn't connected to my DJ equipment...)

Maybe you should change the gain to a minimum in the mixvibes software?! I'm not sure...

Probably there's the input volume on your soundcard set to high level, you shoud try by lower the input volume and try to tweak the preamp level in the Vinyl/cd option. Let us know after you try it ;)
