Can anyone recommend a mixing program out that allows you to be able to monitor the tracks your mixing as your mixing them? I am upset I bought mixvibes Home edition and unable to do this with this program and over the fighting to be heard about this issue. In my opinion this program mixvibe has put out is a waste of money and time how can you put out a program that is for djing and not include real time monitoring ********* if you ask me. So if anyone knows any good programs that will allow me to do this please let me know. I AM OVER MIXVIBES

No i mean a program that isnt a mixvibe program all together. I spent hard earned money on a program from this company to do what I thought I would be able to and find out I cant and now your telling me if I want what I should be able to do with this program I have to buy yet another program from these people to get it to work. Hmmmmm lets think about that for a second just doesnt seem right to me.

Not trying to stir the pot,,,Price was not a issue,if the purches price was higher and you got what you thought you were getting then there would be no complaint,Sir you need to get the home 7 version and hook it up to a lap top in your office and try to wow your co-workers with your mixing skills,Home 7 ,,6 also will make you feel like the clowns riding around in the small funny car,if you look at one of the more to the point post look in the 7.2 update post my responce to the posting before... some one missed the beat on this because if home was the basic program then why do you need a mixer to monitor the mix,,,home 7 should be a simple mixing program,to use for fun with just what is purched (sound card) and a laptop /p/c to try to back up a flawed decision on corp part is just as fun as watching the little car breakdown trying to make m v the best

I don't know any DJ software that can do a full monitoring with 2 different sound cards with a native managment
we could plan to add multichannel (2/3/4 stereo outputs in a single audio card) in home 7 edition. It will add full monitoring in the home edition but it will work only with a multi outputs sound card

Mr ericinvibes, there is a program (not sure what you mean by native) that has the monitoring issues sorted out, all being it is a weak d j program,i have used the same plug in sound dogle (from home 6,7) to monitor it, it is called ZULU d j free program, its sound engine is weak?? because you can hear time lag while you are monitoringI dont know the engenering differences, but it works the way a out board mixer works,Striving to make things better, all i want to achieve is to be able to mix on a computer ,rec the mixes for my own pleasure,Home is a great starter program, strong, and pleanty of features,Part of the problem is the misconception you get from the advertizing and demo vedioes (?) dont let you know that to monitor properly you need a external mixer for the monitoring aspect. If you have the inclination to make thing better then this might be a issue to adress,

The bottom half of your post implied a possible solution, thank you for the time and thought process,, maybe thease words might give a direction to also try,, (by no means a comp engneerier) possibilities of having options in the sound card selection to either run thru a external mixer or have the monitoring get picked up pre fader,,, if you have the resources and time, may be the next version of home will have this sorted out, And will pay for it .Because life teaches you ,You pay for what you get, Thank you again, Sometimes the solution is what it is Hopefully this is not one of thoes
