DVS don't reconize the timecode signal

Postby wannes951 on 04 Mar 2009, 18:26

when I connect my 2 cd players on the maya 44 sound card and the soundcard to my mixer, and i plug the soundcard in my computer and I start up DVS,mij right cd player send a signal because i see the lights burning on the soundcard , but DVS do not recognize the signal, and does not send a signal back to my mixer. I have used DVS several times and it works good, but now this problem appears.

there is no timecode detection in your second input... check your connections, also switch your CD in the inputs to see if the problem is related to CD players or MAYA inputs.

seems like you might be using the same input for both channels. did you run the install wizard ?

Another idea would be to test the infamous ASIO4ALL driver with your MAYA. it gives great results. you'll find it a s freeware on the ASIO4ALL website.
