MIDI controler problem

Postby smaks on 21 Jan 2009, 19:26

Translation of a french topic problem to help the guy out , i know there are some MIDI experts here :)

It might be a little slower to answer to your questions but hey, iff we can help we can, it's not like whe are going to explode iff it isnt resolved in two minutes,

Translation,

When i hook up my M-audio Axiome 61 MIDI controller i can see both MIDI in USB Axiome 61 in 1 and
USB Axiome 61 in 2 but channel two doesnt work at all,

After creating a new MIDI config file and tried the MIDI learning i can asign every bottun from my controller except the white and black keys,

My controller works perfectly with other programs,

The drivers are up to date and working ,

Could anyone in here help me out ?

M-audio Axiome 61 looks well cool!,

First of all, check “omni” mode is not selected on the Mixvibes MIDI settings panel.

Then use the info panel to check the MIDI codes coming from the M-audio Axiome 61, File menu, “View>info”.

I also see the 61 keyboard keys are velocity-sensitive, the Mixvibes sampler is now capable of accepting velocity code however to control players and other features within Mixvibes you have to turn the velocity-sensitive feature of the controller off. This is normally done by setting “MIDI Control Change” to off.

regards,
Bryan

dans le panneau option onglet MIDI il detecte:
USB Axiome 61 in 1 et
USB Axiome 61 in 2 Le 2 ne fonctionne pas du tout

The Axiome 61 is a MIDI controller and a MIDI interface,

USB Axiome 61 in 1 is for MIDI control and USB Axiome 61 in 2 is the MIDI interface.

This means that USB Axiome 61 in 2 can be used for any other MIDI hardware that is connected to the Axiome 61 via its MIDI in ports.
