I just wish the Mixvibes Team could build the MIDI mapping for HS-5500 in future DVS versions.
Give us a loan of your HS-5500 and we will, lol
I'm totally lost configuring the MIDI. I set the learning feature on the options, but it just doesn't show any commands to conf. When I connect the turntable, I get a msg "MIDI driver not found".
MIDI learning is very simple, you have to create a new config file for your MIDI commands to be stored in... no code will show in the editor untill you learn some. with the MIDI learning there is very little further editing requiered to get up and running.
your MIDI hardware must be connected and switched on when you boot Mixvibes... if everything is connected as it should and you still get this error then have a look for updated drivers for your Denon, also if you start your computer and run mixvibes before the computer is finnished booting up, it may not have had time to load the driver for the denon propperly.
i can only advise you to take your time with it, learnign as you go along... you can also try visiting the Denon forums and see if anyone there has it setup with mixvibes, maybe they can give you a copy of the MIDI file or help you out with it.
i'll as about and see if anyone on the forum here has this hardware.
regards
Bryan.
