The sound card couldn't calibrate well on first pass?
Try this & report if it's better. Your preamp level are at 0db right now. If it's better with 4db try to adjust to the Ultimate level, the signal must not be too low or saturate. Check with the signal view.

the suggestion made a great improvment on the sound. It seems the only time I can get a good quality with my vinyl is if its in absolute mode(still minor issues). unfortunately I seem to be having the same issues. I think I'm going to throw in the towel and just purchase Cross and run it on Mac OSX. When I have time Ill submit a video to show all the problems I'm having.

This is a silly question, but the styli on the carts are not worn out are they?

nah they are fine when i run serato everything is cool but I'd rather run mixvibes we all know its a better program. I think it might be the OS on my mac(running xp) so im just going to get Cross, and run it through leopard. because even when i run the sound card through other programs through xp I still get the same problems no matter what driver I have installled.

Did you try using different USB ports? Did you get the latest Boot Camp drivers for XP? Also have you tweaked XP for audio programs?

Give a try to asio4all www.asio4all.com for windows drivers. Read the pdf after the install.
