BCD2000 sound setup home edition

Postby DJ AJ Slye on 04 Jan 2009, 19:35

I have just purchased the home edition and would like to set up my bcd2000 as the sound card, but since there is no ASIO in this version I'd like to know how to use the front and rear output's as master and cue?

Thanks in advance,
DJ AJ Slye

Hi DJ AJ Slye,

Did you try the multi channel feature?

I didn't see this feature in the home version. The BCD2000 driver's wdm/mme mode only clones the output to front and back, not sure but I think it only allows for two channel mode in the asio part of the driver.. Maybe on the next update they can add asio or multichanel to the home version so we don't have to spend so mch for features we don't need. I DJ in clubs but don't need timecode nor do I need video, so $299 for something to just play music with my BCD2000 is a bit high..
