How dos the playmodes Work ?

Postby dyrskjødt 1980 on 28 Dec 2008, 16:37

I not quit shure i know how the 3 Diffrent playmodes work =
Now im playing i the Absulute Mode with the vinyl button activated
and it works fine, but why cant i make loop on the keyboard ? seem like the button is deativated in that playmode Or ?

and when i then play in rel time mode with the vinyl buttom activated. is´t possible to make a loop with the loop button  but then i have no control over the Pioneer cdj what so ever !!
is´t not possible to rewind or press cue and then play it from the start again... it just plays on from the same possion??

What too do what too do.... :?:

I want too play so i can use the keyboard loop function and still have full function on the pioneers ?

Keep it Up

Hi dyrskjødt 1980,

Absolute, Relative Time and All Relative mode determine the way Mixvibes tracks the vinly/cd timecode. These modes are quite easy to understand..

Absolute,
in this mode the song it tracked by the timecode only, no loops are possible because Mixvibes will play the song determined by the position of the timecode. Changing the position of the timecode by moving the needle (needle drop) or using the forward/back/cue buttons on your cd player will alter the position of the song in the player.

Relative Time,
This mode tracks the song by its immediate position on the timecode, it is possible to loop in this mode as well as needle drop and the use of forward/back/cue buttons however altering the timecode position using needle drop and forward/back/cue buttons is only possible out of loop.

All Relative,
this mode tracks the movement of the vinyl/cd only, loops are possible in this mode however no other needle drop, forward/back/cue functions are possible.

I hope this helps you,
regards,
Bryan
