(SOLVED) Cross LE + U46MK2: Channels 3-6 disabled

Postby Mamboking on 22 Dec 2008, 18:22

Hi all,

I bought the Cross/U46 bundle recently (Cross LE v1.1.3, U46 driver v1.041) and have some problems activating output channel 3-6, i.e. I can´t use the headphone outs in certain configurations.

On a P4 1,7 GHz 1GB RAM / XP Pro SP3 system everything works fine.

On a second machine with identical hard- and software all input channels and output channels 3-6 are disabled (marked red in the AUDIO CONFIG screen, MIXVIBES U46MK2 ASIO driver), same goes for a 1,7 GHz dual-core Vista HP Laptop.

Strangely enough, the Cross 1.0 DEMO works without any problems on all three machines, only the registered versions seem to disable the output channels for one reason or another.

VDJ and other audio software works without any faults, so I guess it´s a Cross specific problem.

For testing purposes, I had installed several MV demos (DVS 7, DVS/Home e.a.) - these demos work with one output channel only. My guess was that some hidden registry toggle switch might cause a side effect, so I de- and re-installed all drivers more than once, manually removing all MIXVIBES entries I could find, but without any success.

Any ideas?

Thanx a lot, R.

Problem solved - I just had not thought of activating the output channels clicking the mouse on the respective entries in the AUDIO config menu

I´m such a moron at times ...

Have a nice day, R.
