Phono

Postby xxwaznxx on 07 Dec 2008, 00:51

Hi, i was wondering if there was any way to hook up this system in which you can change from the phono to line through the actual mixer. So a hypothetical situation is when i'm mixing with the DVS and then i take one of the DVS vinyl out and put in a scratch vinly. I want the option to directly change to the phono so that the scratch vinyl can be read. it is sometimes a hassle and slows me down when i have to go to the notebook and turn on the phono through the software.

refer to the manual there is a section showing you how to do this

M-Audio Quattro, U46mk2, Evolution UC33, LaunchPad Technics 1200sl Mk2 , Rane Empath, DDM4000

Your wiring should go like this:

Turntable red -> red splitter -> one side into U46 / other into mixer phono

Same procedure goes for the white as well. Do this for both channels.
