strange sound out from the comptuer

I`v got mixvibes DVS LE and and a vinyl usb 20 dj-tech turntable.
I have used the config. wizard. but when i press play on the turntable it plays the song in a weird way. It almost like someones is pitching it up and down all the time. what is wrong?

my setup is just 1 deck and a computer.

Try using any software that came with that usb turn table to adjust the settings of the internal sound processor in the turntable.

Sounds like maybe it could be a latency or buffer issue or something along those lines.

only other program I got with is audacity..and there is not a lot to do in that program. Got some other ideas?

maybe your computer is a little short on ressources, did you deactivate the anti-virus and all networking activity ?
