You got your U46MK2 with 3DEX why you don't use it? It's a cool software. I can't help you with vdj.

I'm working on getting the time code cd's I see were the price is posted but not sure how to pay for them I don't want to send money without knowing for sure that my order will get processed. If you can tell me that if I send a payment via paypal for the cd's that it will get processed, also I have a big gig on Saturday and I don't have my music on cd's which means I would have to burn forever. It's an inconvinience, so atleast help me out with the direct wire setup, it may just work but I'm getting the timecode cd's I haven't loaded 3dex yet to avoid any further conflicts. Unfortunately like most manuals, they are very vague when it comes to tweaking. So let me know what I have to do to setup the direct wire

If you got MixVibes 3dex, it works with MIDI controller, not timecoded cd or vinyls If you bought a MixVibes bundle with your U46, you got a DVS version of MixVibes and should have also the timecoded vinyls and cd's For more information about Vdj you should go to Vdj forum, but i don't see the point of using direct wire, afaik Vdj is able to use an asio sound card.

What's the purpose of Direct Wire? I'm working with VDJ also to help me setup the thing since no one here in MIXVIBES is willing to help. The user manual is very vage as if it were to explain the purpose of direct wire, maybe I can atleast get music playing. If I can't use my cdj's to control VDJ, shouldn't VDJ still work from my lappy?

U46MK2 is a normal sound card. It can be used in ASIO with Vdj or any other sound software. In case of Mixvibes or Vdj, inputs are directly pluged to your cd player. Left deck are channel 1 & 2 right deck are channel 3 & 4 outputs are directly pluged to your external mixer line inputs Left deck are channel 1 & 2 right deck are channel 3 & 4 Latency should stay low. The inputs are set on mute on the sound panel. (if not your hear the time code in your output.) There are no risks of interference between mixvibes or vdj.
To use your sound card working in ASIO, you must have Asio drivers installed first. See in the download section the last driver for Vista or Xp

Uncle,
Ok I need to know about DIRECT WIRE on the actual U46MK2 pull down menu you have the direct wire option. My question is what goes to what for example on the input column should I go in to the input column of ASIO? Then what about the out column of ASIO? I think one of my issues is LATENCY and I haven't downloaded the updated version of VDJ, but I'm about to.

No latency isn't related to a sound software but to ASIO drivers. If you are sure that your drivers are well installed then just tune your VDJ in its sound options! Tune the latency on your sound card panel.

Will do. I must check to see if my onboard soundcard was completely uninstalled because in VDJ I still have the option to select it so maybe that's what's going on with the ASIO driver. Any how, I got an email on how to purchase mix vibes with TCCD. So I'm gonna go that route if these last few tweeks don't work. I just invested too much time and money on VDJ to change programs, all my BPM's remarks, playlists were setup perfectly and I don't have time to restart so I'm sure you can fill my pain.
