cant uninstal u46 mk2 driver

when i go to add or remove programs and trying to remove is saying "could not open install.log file.

any idea how i can remove it from my nice and clean system

There are differents problems to uninstall esi or mixvibes drivers for the U46MK2.
first they are located in different places. For ESI it's c:/esi for mixvibes it's c:/mixvibes. In the folder you can find an uninstall supposed to work. Well it's not working, you can delete the folder & forget a little the lost keys in the register. You must stop the u46panel to launch 2 times if the previous drivers isn't well uninstalled. You can do it checking the programs at launch & deleting the not expected U46panel. If you just respect that it should be ok & enough.
Don't forget that the new drivers version 1.30 & 1.31 need install on each usb port. No choice you must do it if you want to use an another port than the one where the setup was done it won't work.

I am having the same problems. Uninstalls not working. I don't understand what I am doing wrong. I have deleted Mixvibes DVS and U46 audio driver.. I finally rid myself of the ESI panel (by deleting the folder from Program Files). Some things, when I deleted them they kept coming back and I could not find where they were installed.

I need some live support here...this is not good enough.

If the panel still come back it's because you must find all folders. For example, you installed esi 1.16 or Mixvibes 1.16 they aren't in the same folder. In your case the easy solution would be as for sonarscope to come back at previous time before the install.
Support is never enough but it exists! We work every day to make it more efficient & to find where the problems are.
Because the U46MK2 is with Mixvibes name on its cover we must help you to install it. This isn't easy, specially when the install-uninstall went wrong.

Well, I got it updated and working.

Frustrated because it has taken me two weeks and way too many hours to get to where I am and I am still figuring things out. I can't help but think that there is a better way to get the correct info out there for people. The message board format is not the best, but as an evolving manual it could at least it be done better I think.

There should be "essential reading" type of threads. And more detailed and step-by-step instruction type of threads.

You are right & every days this support try to follow the needs of our members. But it isn't easy & also frustrating on our side. I see you found your needed info. And it was in the right place (english u46mk2 forum) with the good title.

Initially I didn't understand which is why I didn't know where to begin to look on the furum to find things - although I did spend hours looking. It's hard when there are so many threads all dealing with different aspects of the puzzle, to put them all together in an order that makes sense. And when you don't want to give too much info to confuse certain people and not enough for others.

Anyways, since it works, I have renewed faith
