Complaint about MacBook pro incompatibility [Solved]

Postby kevdasrobot on 04 Jun 2011, 13:03

Hi Hi Hi,

I love this U-Mix Control Pro and software, but sadly have to return both to the supplier.

As far as I can see from experienced forum users is that this unit is NOT compatible with the new MacBook Pros, due to chipset / usb 1 issue

Surely this info should be readily availabe, the unit is sold as Mac compatible (it is NOT fully Mac compatible)

Correct if i'm wrong, as i'd love to keep this unit

Very unhappy

its not the mac platform but the new intel core iX family which is sold with the latest PC and mac laptops. and not just mixvibes but several other companies that makes usb1.1 audio devices suffer from the same exact issue - so its not mixvibes, not Apple but intel who has to make the first (urgent!) steps in order to solve the case

please read this thread for a possible alternative solution :right: viewtopic.php?f=268&t=20583
