Is there a way to get the Cross DJ program to play mp3's from my rhapsody account?

Hey,
I don't know about this solution but I think you need to have the MP3s on your local mashine. The second point is that I don't know how stable Cross will be when the music is coming from the "cloud".
Some more details about where them saved and so on could be helpful to say if it is working or not. direct connection is as I know not possible.
regards Christian

The rhapsody files show up in the Cross DJ program, the files are downloaded in to the hard drive, but you can not play the files.

They may be, but the files will open and play through other DJ programs (i.e. virtual DJ), so I am not sure.

Can you please have a look at the files? Are it *.mp3 or *.m4a or a totally different format? Cross does not play copyright protected files. I do not know how different software is handling this, but Cross does not, as far as I am informed.

Steve

Try converting one file into mp3 and try this - it is my cheap solution. It is not the best and costs time, but to me this is the only solution if you want to work with mixvibes software and use your rhapsody files.

Here is a solution for you. I don't know the legalitys of this but you could use Tunebite to re-recorded these protected wma files. http://audials.com/en/tunebite/index.htmlThis software re-records (at hi-speed), any protected music files, such as wma files, leaving you with the original wma protected files and non-protected .mp3's files. These new mp3's file will then play in Cross or CrossDJ
