Cross Demo-Hercules DJ Console MK4-Missing Cue/Play buttons

I have an ION Discover DJ and Cross DJ LE which works ok.

However, I recently bought a Hercules DJ Console MK 4 and I am thinking about using this controller and upgrading to Cross DJ.

So, I checked out the Cross DJ Demo and found that I couldn't play anything because the Cue/Play buttons have been replaced with God know what. Here's an image.

Any idea what this means or how I can get back the cue/play buttons?

I can't really see you image, as it is too small on my Netbook screen. I use the Hercules RMX with Cross and CrossDJ and it runs just fine.

Sometimes if you don't choose the right audio set up, then nothing works.

Please see my image. This is how I my RMX set up

In the soundcard drop down (first option) you need to choose something like "Hercules DJ Console MK4 ASIO" if it appears. If there is a option like this, choose it and then close and re-open Cross and see if you have your buttons back

I have just edited my post with a bigger, clearer picture. Sorry for the mistake.

I have got it to work once, but I can't remember how or why.

Go to VInyl/CD and unmark "left control deck" and "right control deck", after that the buttons should be back.
