Exact same hard drive ? May be electrical consumption.

different hard drive, but 160gb both

I understand your frustration but unfortunately I can't provide any path to modify the OS.

Have a look in both consoles to see if there are different messages when the controller is plugged in.
The console is under applications/utility/console.

Thanks for all really! I will try it. I just install my old PC and i'm using the controller there. Will try that on mac. Thanks again!
