IDJ3 controller not working with Mixvibes

i have Numark IDJ3 & I loaded up all the softawre like it said & everytime i click on Cross - Numark iDJ3 Edition 1.3.4 it crashes, I have HP Pavilion Elite HPE-500f Desktop PC a week old with AMD Phenom™ II 1045T Six-Core Processor (2.70GHz) 8GB installed memory 1.5TB hard drive any idea why it keeps crashin i get a message
Cross-iDJ3.exe has stopped working, a problem caused the program to stop working correctly, windows will close the program and notify you if solution is available........

i downloaded the Cross Demo 1.5.0 it works fine & i am not going to spen 200.00 for that so what is the deal here with iDJ3 Edition 1.3.4 keeps crashing when i click on it??

Have you looked at CrossDJ instead. It is a cheaper alternative It has all the features of Cross but just without the timecode support

First of all have you removed all the bloatware that is normally pre-loaded on new PC's/Laptops. You can use this free program

I would uninstall and remove all traces of your Cross edition and your Numark IDJ3 from your PC using a Reg cleaner. CCleaner is good. There is a free version here

Then I would optimize your PC For DJ'ing use. There are a few tips here

Finally I would run a Disk clean up and Defrag.

Once all this is done I would then re-install your Cross Edition and the drivers for your IDJ3 and test again and see if you suffer with the problem

ok i did all that & the iTunes is what is making it crash on startup anything i can do to fix this?

You certainly have a corrupted xml, that make your IDJ3 Cross version crash because this version can only boot in iTunes panel.

- try with a virgin library
- upgrade to Cross DJ for fixes, updates or new features

ok here what i got now the Numark usb driver is what is making it crash i uninstalled it & it works fine now & everything workin great now took me a while to figure it out & thats what it was even the update on Numark site crashed to
