headphones and speakers

Postby oc9979 on 08 Jan 2011, 02:39

I have seen that some of you guys have explained it already but I still don't know how to have the music coming from the speaker and have the headphones work too. I have the ION Discover DJ with the MixVibes Cross Discover DJ

My PC is HP Pavilion P6110y

Audio Output
* Type Sound card - Integrated
* Audio Adapter Realtek ALC888S
What do I need to do? The PC has a headphone jack in the front and one in the back.

:cool: welcome to mixvibes, :razz: assuming your software is discover DJ with Cross, the first thing to suggest is to check out the tips and tutorial section on asio4all :cool: also postings in tech support on sound cards/multi channel sound cards/dual sound cards :cool: :cool: next tip look in preferences/audio and see if your intergrated sound card is recognized. Also if your second sound card is recognized. :cool: you can add them together using asio4all :cool: :mrgreen: :?: :?: I think the headphone jack on the front of your PC will not be recognized as a different output so you only hear what the main soundcard puts out :cool: if the intergrated soundcard is not multichannel then you will need to use asio4all :cool:

You need an additional device to provide a secondary output.
